Nutrition Coaching

Whether you are trying to improve sports performance, build life-long habits, or simply learn more about the foods you eat, our nutrition coaching can help you achieve your goals.

Services and Benefits

IMPORTANT: Our nutrition services are provided by a Certified Nutrition Coach, NOT a Registered Dietician. A nutrition coach can help with nutritional goals such as understanding macronutrients and building healthy habits. Nutrition coaches cannot diagnose or treat any conditions. Registered dieticians are healthcare professionals with the training to assist individuals with more complex health conditions such as diabetes, thyroid conditions, pregnancy, eating disorders, etc. If your needs exceed the scope of nutrition coaching, we will happily refer you to a more appropriate healthcare provider.

A Nutrition Coach CAN:

  • Evaluate current eating plans and provide general guidance

  • Promote accepted government caloric guidelines

  • Recommend gradual dietary modifications

  • Discuss the importance of a balanced intake of macronutrients and food groups

  • Provide guidance for healthy populations

  • Offer advice on eating behaviors and/or macronutrients that are known to reduce the risk of disease or slow disease progression

  • Offer exercise and physical activity guidelines

  • Offer nutritional advice for typical athletes

A Nutrition Coach CANNOT:

  • Provide specific meal plans and daily menus

  • Prescribe supplements or recommend dosages

  • Promote extreme nutritional practices

  • Prescribe diets that omit or restrict certain food groups

  • Provide detailed nutritional plans for extreme athletes

  • Prescribe dietary plans to treat chronic health conditions

  • Provide nutrition therapy to treat or prevent disease

Initial Evaluation - 60 minutes

Initial intake appointments must be completed before booking any other session type. You will discuss your current eating habits with the nutritionist, along with your personal goals and building a nutrition plan. If desired, body composition testing will be used to establish a baseline to track your progress. Follow-up appointments may be scheduled after completion of your initial intake.

Follow-Up - 60 minutes

Follow-up sessions may be scheduled after completing your initial intake appointment. You may schedule these follow-ups as frequently or infrequently as you would like. You will discuss how your nutrition plan is progressing, and any necessary changes will be made to help you better meet your goals.
